Grandson of former Bulldog Merv Hicks, Harry Hayes enjoyed a meteoric rise to first-grade in 2024, debuting in Round 20 and maintaining his spot from the interchange bench as an impact forward as the Bulldogs claimed a finals spot. The youngster has found plenty of success since moving from the centres to the forward pack, claiming the 2024 Terry Lamb Medal as NSW Cup Player of the Year.
