This week, our focus is on maintaining possession and solidifying our defensive line.

"While we're proud of our strong performance against the Rabbitohs, we recognise that we need to elevate our game further to secure the win this week."

A word from the Coach, Mark O'Meley:

"There are some big games for us in the coming weeks and we need to compete better off the ball and convert our opportunities," he said.

The boys had the weekend off to freshen up, reset and then continue to work extremely hard in all the little areas that have been letting us down in previous weeks.

"We are working hard on concentration and staying in the moment. Our defensive connections need to improve as we cannot try to solve our problems individually.

"We've seen that our systems work when we work together as a team."

A word from the Coach, Nik Wolfgramm:

"This game will really test the depth of our squad with a few troops out with injuries and a great opportunity for some players to make a mark," he said.

"Newcastle is a strong team and can punish you. As finalists from last year they are slowly showing why they cannot be taken lightly.

"We will need to focus on doing the little things better than our last outing; completing high, limiting fundamental errors and playing territory. If we can achieve that, it will be a far more enjoyable trip back down the freeway."

A word from the Coach, Steve Turner:

"A road trip to Newcastle this weekend will give the group another great opportunity to connect and work on the areas we have spoken about over the past two weeks," Turner explained.

The boys had the weekend off to refresh and refocus for the back end of the season.

"We're all looking forward to this weekend's matches."
