In line with the Club’s 90th Anniversary celebrations, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs officially unveiled the 1935 Commemorative Jersey at the Club’s Gala Night on Tuesday, February 11.
The reveal received an enthusiastic reception from the crowd, which included members of the Bulldogs Hall of Fam, Ring of Champions, current and former players, staff members and guests.

Based on the original jersey from 1935, the Blue and White butcher’s stripe design is a pillar of the Bulldogs’ identity that encapsulates the working-class foundations and humble beginnings of both Club and the Canterbury-Bankstown district.
The famous strip was donned by the likes of Club pioneers including Eddie Burns, Roy Kirkaldy, Henry Porter, Alan Brady and Ron Bailey, and will be proudly worn by the NRL squad in their Round 8 ANZAC Round match against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
The 2025 Commemorative Jersey also pays tribute to the very first side that ran out for Canterbury-Bankstown on April 25, 1935, with the team list from that day emblazoned on the back of the shoulders.
Members and supporters will be pleased to see that the jersey also features a collar, drawing further inspiration from the original jersey and brought back by popular demand.
