Bulldogs and M&J Chickens Extend Long-Standing Partnership

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce that local company M&J Chickens will continue their long-standing partnership with the Club for the next three years.

For over 20 years, M&J Chickens has partnered with the Bulldogs - dating back to 2003 – and in 2025, the leading poultry supplier will return to being displayed on the Club’s playing kit as the back of shorts sponsor.

Forged by family values and a relationship with the local community, M&J Chickens has built a strong reputation, supplying to over 3000 Australian businesses and counting since their humble beginnings in 1982.

One of the longest-lasting partner relationships in Rugby League, M&J Chickens has previously been displayed as a sleeve sponsor, while The Jenny Souris Foundation – in honour of the late Jenny Souris, who represents the ‘J’ in M&J Chickens – was also displayed on the back of the Bulldogs jersey in recent years.

M&J Chickens Chief Executive Officer Sam Phylactou was thrilled with the extension of the deal.

“We’re incredibly pleased to continue our strong relationship with the Bulldogs,” Mr Phylactou said.

It is a privilege to have M&J Chickens on the Bulldogs playing kit for the Club’s 90th year, and we look forward to celebrating that milestone throughout 2025 and beyond.

“Rugby League has been in our DNA ever since we began operating in the early 1980s from Wiley Park, and the shared values we have with the Bulldogs have never wavered.

“We were there in 2004 when the Club last lifted the NRL Premiership trophy, and we will ensure that we will continue to show our support when that happens once again.”

Aaron Warburton, Bulldogs Chief Executive Officer welcomed the new deal, highlighting the importance of M&J Chickens’ continuing commitment and support.

“After over two decades, M&J Chickens aren’t just a partner, they’re truly part of the Bulldogs fabric,” said Mr Warburton.

The longevity, loyalty and support they have shown – both on our jersey and in the community – has highlighted their unwavering commitment to the Club. Much like a true family unit, they’ve committed during both the good times and the tough times.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with M&J Chickens, and we want to send a special thanks to Sam, Mina and the entire Souris family for their continued contribution to the Club.”
