Bulldogs Claim Flowers Memorial Pennant for Second Consecutive Year

For the second year running, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have been honoured with the Flowers Memorial Pennant, a testament to their impressive performances across all major competitions in the NSWRL.

Established in 1930 as the Fred Flowers Memorial Pennant, this prestigious Club Championship is awarded to the club that accumulates the highest total points across all grades at the conclusion of competition rounds.

Two years in a row, the Bulldogs have showcased remarkable results in both male and female competitions. This season, the Harold Matthews team finished as Minor Premiers, while the Lisa Fiaola team, in their first full season, became undefeated Premiers. Additionally, the SG Ball team secured the runners-up position while the Tarsha Gale squad advanced to the Preliminary Final, and the Jersey Flegg squad emerged as back-to-back Premiers, lifting the trophy at CommBank Stadium today.

The 2024 Flowers Memorial Pennant was presented during halftime of the Flegg Final today, with Female Operations Coordinator and 2025 NRLW Football Manager Lauren Milner, alongside Pathways Recruitment Officer Fifita Hala, on hand to accept the award:

"We are extremely pleased to accept this Pennant for the second consecutive year," Milner said.

"It highlights the strength of our pathways across all levels, and as we approach such a milestone year, we couldn't be prouder of everyone who has represented our club this season."

The Bulldogs’ achievements this year not only celebrate their current successes but also set the stage for an exciting future as they continue to develop and nurture talent within the organisation.

Members of the Board and executive, NRL coaching staff including Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo and General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM, sponsors and Club legends were all on hand to cheer on the future of the Blue and White in today's Finals efforts.

As we gear up to celebrate our 90th anniversary and our inaugural NRLW season, the Bulldogs are confident in their strong foundation of talent poised to make a significant impact in 2025.
