The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jay Justin McCarthy who sadly passed away late last month.
Known for his prominent singing/songwriting which saw him achieve numerous no.1 hits including 'Proud of You', Jay was a regular performer at the Canterbury League Club throughout the mid-20th century.
Jay's contribution to the Bulldogs was immense having compiled the victory anthem, 'We Are the Mighty Bulldogs' which is still played at home matches. His legacy will continue to live on through this very special song.
