Jersey Flegg Cup Team News: Finals Week 1 v Panthers

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will take on the Penrith Panthers this Saturday, September 7 in the first week of the Jersey Flegg Cup finals series at Leichhardt Oval. 

After finishing the regular season in third place, the defending Premiers will face the second-place Panthers at 11:00am for a chance to take on the Minor Premiers, the Canberra Raiders next week for a spot in the Grand Final.

A number of changes have been made heading into the finals, with Taye Cochrane taking the reins at fullback while Johnathon Sua and Jordi Mazzone make their way onto the wings. 

Joseph Teaupa and Cassius Tia form the halves pairing, Jack Underhill and Reuben Moyle are the new faces in the front row while Luke Smith takes his place in the second row.

Patrick Young, Larry Muagututia and Ragarive Wavike return to the interchange after starting last week.
