NSW Cup Team News: Round 20 v Eels

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NSW Cup team is set to clash with the Parramatta Eels at Belmore Sports Ground this Friday night for Round 20.

Coming off a challenging loss against the Jets over the weekend, the Bulldogs NSW Cup side is determined to bounce back into form.

Injuries have tested the squad's depth with key players like Blake Taaffe, Jake Turpin and Ryan Sutton forced to watch on from the sidelines, but this weeks' team has been bolstered by promising young talents such as Jordi Mazzone and Jack Underhill.

Lachlan Vale and Liam Knight will shift into the starting line-up while centre Jordan Samrani will aim to get the left edge firing. Captain Joseph O'Neill and Hayze Perham will work together to try and establish momentum against the 9th placed Eels, looking to steer the side to a win at home.

The Bulldogs have a strong record against the Eels' Cup side, having won six of their last seven encounters.

The NSW Cup match will be preceded by the Jersey Flegg Cup clash between the Bulldogs and Eels, making it a must-see double-header at the Club's spiritual home ground.
