The Canterbury-Bankstown District Junior Rugby League (CBDJRL) has come together to honour the late Geoff Robinson at the weekend.

During the CBDJRL Under 5's through Under 10's make up round over the weekend, teams came together to honour the late Geoff 'Robbo' Robinson with a minute’s silence before kick-off.

Robbo was a local junior who played for the Chester Hill Hornets before going on to play over 100 first grade games for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (Bulldog #427). Affectionately known as ‘Wild Man’, he was a beloved member of the Bulldogs Family and was a formidable forward, renowned for his toughness on the field and admired for his greatness off it.

A Premiership player, he played a total of 139 first-grade matches for the Blue and White, playing an instrumental role in the success of the Club during the late 1970s and 1980s. In 2022, Robbo was named at prop in the Canterbury-Bankstown District Junior Rugby League Team of the Century.

In a touching tribute, players, team officials, referees and club executives of the CBDJRL lined up to honour Wild Man in their first match back on field since his passing, naming the round in his honour: RIP Robbo Round.
