Round 17 Team News: Bulldogs face-off With Sharks At Home

The Blue and White will look to further cement themselves in the top eight as they kick off the Round with the NRL's biggest light show of the year at Accor stadium.

Blake Taaffe will start at fullback with Connor Tracey unavailable. Taaffe has been strong in his appearances this year, having six try involvements in seven games.

Bronson Xerri returns to the centres after being a late withdrawal from last weeks game. Matt Burton will partner Toby Sexton in the halves.

Jeral Skelton will feature in his second game this season. Skelton was heavily involved last week, with a try, try assist and posting 241 run metres.

Blake Wilson will look to continue his form against the Sharks this season. The winger scored a try and ran for 160 metres in his last outing against the Sharks.

Bailey Hayward has been named to start at lock with Jake Turpin shifting back to the bench. After returning from injury last week, Viliame Kikau will start in his familiar number 11 this week.

Jacob Preston is listed in the reserves as he looks to push for a return from a foot injury. Bulldogs Captain Stephen Crichton has also been named in the extended squad following his Origin duties on Wednesday.
