NSW Cup Team News: Round 16 v Magpies

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NSW Cup side will face the Western Suburbs Magpies this Sunday afternoon.

After a dominant 46-4 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 14 followed by a bye in Round 15, the Bulldogs will be looking to return to the field this weekend to claim their ninth win of the NSW Cup season.

The match will mark the second encounter of the Bulldogs and Magpies in 2024, with the Bulldogs earning a solid 42-12 win back in Round 9.

In team list news, Drew Hutchison and Blake Taaffe will partner in the halves while Chris Patolo has been named to make his return from injury at prop. Patolo was sidelined earlier this year following an injury sustained in the Round 7 NRL clash with the Knights (MCL).

Callum Donaldson will make his Cup debut off the bench after a strong start to the season in Flegg and local junior Joseph O’Neill will play his 50th Club game for the Bulldogs this weekend.

The young half has come through the Bulldogs Academy and Captained the Jersey Flegg side to it's first Premiership in over 20-years last year.
