Magic Round Team News: Final Squad for Run In With Raiders

Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo has finalised his squad to run out in this evening's match against the Canberra Raiders. The clash will officially kick-off the NRL's Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium.

Jaeman Salmon has been omitted from the side after spending the last 24 hours in hospital for treatment of a staph infection in his leg. The backrower is expected to have a speedy recovery.

Josh Curran moves into the starting 13 to replace Salmon in the backrow while 26-year-old prop Poasa Fa'amausili boosts our forward power as he comes onto the interchange.

Local junior Kurtis Morrin has been a leading defensive player for the Bulldogs this year, averaging 60 tackles per game at 90 per cent efficiency. Across 7 appearances for the Club in 2024, he has injected great line speed and energy off the bench.

The Magic Round match will mark his first as a Bulldogs top 30 player, with the Club announcing his elevation and contract extension for 2025 earlier today.
