The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the launch of a new app designed to give Members access to hundreds of savings at their fingertips.
‘Bulldogs Benefits’ is exclusively available to Bulldogs Members and provides them with access to purchase e-cards that can be downloaded and stored in their digital wallet and used at any time. The gift cards are purchased at a discounted rate, meaning Members can save on hundreds of brands including leading retailers like Woolworths, Coles, The Iconic, Harvey Norman, Amazon, JB Hi Fi and many more.
It also means that they can save on regular household groceries, utilities and general cost of living expenses.
Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton said the app represents a vast number of online shops and an even greater volume of discounts that could save families hundreds of dollars each year.
“The Bulldogs are a Family Club,” said Warburton.
“We have recently soared to new heights with a supporter base of over 21,000 Members. By offering our Members exclusive and easy to redeem discounts through the Bulldogs Benefits program, we could potentially be saving thousands of families hundreds of dollars.”
“At the start of the year we told our Members we would be committed to providing them more value through Membership and our vision with the launching of this app is to help reduce the everyday living expenses of families.
“Our aim is to save our Members that use the platform, more than enough to cover the cost of their Membership.”
Our vision with the launching of this app is to help reduce the everyday living expenses of families.
The app works by allowing Members to purchase a voucher to the value of their choice with a discount, which can then be used in store or online with the retailer, providing savings that can add up significantly over the course of the year. E-cards can also be purchased and sent as gifts, as well as used in conjunction with existing in-store/online offers.
Members already receive a large number of benefits through their Membership, including access to discounted tickets and merchandise.
“This is just one small way we can give back to our loyal supporters and thank them for supporting the Club,” Warburton said.
Registered junior league participants and Canterbury junior representative players receive a complimentary Membership each year for playing in the Bulldogs pathways system.
General Manager of Pathways, Adam Hartigan added that the Bulldogs Benefits app is set to make a difference in the lives of talented, young individuals pursuing a career in professional rugby league.
“With the club affording Members the opportunity to save on household costs, our pathway players will be able to access savings on essential items for their athletic development such as fresh groceries for good nutrition, boots and other training gear from leading sports retailers, and discounted transport costs such as petrol to help them and their families get to and from training or games.
“It’s a great thing that can help make a difference in the long run for a lot of our Bulldogs families, and it’s great to see the Club taking the initiative to develop applications such as this.”
Bulldogs Benefits also comes with exclusive travel offers and discounts, meaning travelling Bulldogs fans can enjoy savings while other discounts on entertainment brands such as Kayo Sports, means the Pack can also watch games at home with discounts on the streaming service.
The launch of the app comes just days after the Club’s Members Appreciation Round, which was hosted at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday, July 15 (Bulldogs v. Broncos). The special round was dedicated to Members in acknowledgement of their ongoing support and loyalty to the Pack.
Members have received an email directly with details on how to log in and access their Bulldogs Benefits account, while others not on Membership will have the option to join the Pack, run with the Pack and unlock hundreds of savings.
Bulldogs Memberships start from as low as $50.00 and with season packs that have been reduced to reflect where we are at in the NRL Premiership, a small upfront cost could pay for itself as Members access savings over and above that in their next few household shops.
