In response to the Australian Newspaper article dated 22 September 2021, suggesting that Sydney Olympic FC have made approaches to the Bulldogs regarding a bailout, we wish to clarify the following:
Due to our joint tenancy of Belmore Sports Ground and Peter Moore Fields, The Bulldogs and Sydney Olympic FC are in joint discussions to maintain and enhance this shared venue and infrastructure, including, but not limited to, the upgrading of the stadium lighting, audio-visual, female changerooms and venue toilets.
The Bulldogs have not expressed interest in acquiring equity in Sydney Olympic FC, or any other soccer club.
