The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm Ava Seumanufagai has been elevated to the club’s top 30 squad.
Seaumanufagai arrived at Belmore on a train and trial contract over the summer having spent the past two seasons playing for Leeds in England and was part of their Challenge Cup win against Salford in 2020.
The prop forward played 118 games in the NRL across six seasons with the Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks before leaving for the English Super League at the end of the 2018 season.
Ava is an experienced forward who will provide depth in the middle of the field for the Bulldogs, after appearing in the club’s trial match earlier in the year against the Cronulla Sharks. He has also featured in the opening three games of the NSW Cup for Mounties.
Meanwhile, Tyrone Harding has been granted an immediate release from his contract to pursue other playing options.
The club would like to wish Tyrone all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts on behalf of the Bulldogs.
The club now has a vacant position within its top 30 that it will look to fill by the June 30th deadline.
