Which new face are you excited about?

Round one of the NRL season will see a host of stars play their first match for their new clubs and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs first game of the year is no different.

The squad named for Friday night’s encounter against the Newcastle Knights includes seven new faces who are yet to wear the blue and white in an official NRL fixture.

Corey Allan, Nick Cotric, Kyle Flanagan, Jack Hetherington, Corey Waddell, Brad Deitz and Ava Seumanufagai have all been named in Trent Barrett’s 21-man squad for round one.

Allan, Cotric, Flanagan, Hetherington and Waddell have all been named in the starting side and will all make their NRL club debuts for the Bulldogs having made their NRL debuts at previous clubs.

While 26-year old Deitz will make his NRL debut from the interchange bench after the club applied for exemption to be given permission to select him this week for the Knights match.

Meanwhile, Seumanufagai has been included on an extended bench, with a decision on whether he takes to the field to be determined later in the week.

With so much to look forward to in round one, bulldogs.com.au is asking our Members and fans to vote for which new face they are looking forward to watch play on Friday night.
