Tim Lafai will make his return to Bulldogs colours this Sunday, for the local derby against the Eels at ANZ Stadium (2:00PM).

29 year-old Lafai, made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs in 2011 and played five seasons at Belmore.

He has made 165 NRL appearances overall, scoring 48 tries. In his previous stint at Belmore between 2011 and 2015, Lafai played in 74 matches and crossed the try line 30 times.

Chris Smith and Reimis Smith were omitted on game day, with Kerrod Holland and Renouf To'omaga dropping out of the 21-man squad that was named on Tuesday.

The Indigenous Round will also mark Marcelo Montoya's 50th appearance at the top level. The local junior scoring on debut for the Bulldogs against the New Zealand Warriors in Round 3, 2017 at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin.
