NRL Fantasy winners & losers: Round 4

Three rookies registered price jumps over $100k this week while some early-season cash cows are already approaching sell status.

Winners

If you had all three of Matt Burton (86, +$116,000), Harry Grant (80, +$105,000) and Bradman Best (87, +$102,000) then your team salary cap is in a very healthy position after last weekend.

Best's teammate Kalyn Ponga (93) was player of the round while in the same match Josh Papalii (87) did his best despite a loss.

Payne Haas (85) continues to produce obscene numbers and was again the best of the likely captain options despite his side getting whacked by the Roosters in a game where Lindsay Collins (85, +$87,000) produced a career-best score.

Cam McInnes (81) continues to tackle himself to a standstill for the beleaguered Dragons and is still in barely 2% of teams after missing the first two rounds injured. He played 80 minutes despite Isaac Luke getting half an hour off the bench in a great sign for anyone looking to buy.

Get Caught Up: Round 4

Angus Crichton (81) notched a vintage score, Tohu Harris (74) is producing tackle and run metre numbers after moving to the middle, Lachlan Lewis (73) kicked over 700 metres against the Dragons while Luke Keary (73), Damien Cook (71) and James Fisher-Harris (70) round out the 70+ scores.

Latrell Mitchell (63) hit his first score of the year and is available at a $164,000 discount to starting price if you think he has turned a corner.

There were also some other solid price rises from the likes of Jamayne Taunoa-Brown (52, +$64,000), Kurt Capewell (55, +$56,000), Toby Rudolf (50, +$54,000), Eliesa Katoa (31, +$50,000) and Jamil Hopoate (44, +$44,000).

Losers

Coaches who own James Tedesco were dealt an early-round blow when the Roosters star was ruled out due to a high temperature; any who also owned Jason Taumalolo had the better part of $2 million in salary cap sidelined.

Fullbacks were an issue across the board for Fantasy coaches. Ryan Papenhuyzen (32) and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (26) are worth persevering with. Valentine Holmes (23) has peaked for those who don't see him as a keeper while Jamayne Isaako (20) is a sell.

The 31 from the above-mentioned Katoa, while still making money, wasn't such good news if he was in your 17. Scott Drinkwater (28) also had his lowest return of the year and is just about a sell for those who don't view him as a potential keeper.

Billy Walters (23) is now officially a sell, as is misfiring cheapie Brayden Wiliame (3) who played just over half a game before injury struck.
