Waerea-Hargreaves and Napa charged by match review committee

Sydney Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been charged by the Match Review Committee following the Roosters win over the Bulldogs.

Waerea-Hargreaves was charged with a grade one dangerous contact charge on Canterbury five-eighth Jack Cogger.

It's the second time in three weeks the forward has been charged by the match review committee and will need to beat the charge if he is to avoid a second suspension for 2019.

An early guilty plea and unsuccessful trip to the judiciary would both attract a one-game ban.

Meanwhile, Bulldogs prop Dylan Napa can avoid suspension despite being charged for dangerous contact.

Napa was placed on report for an incident involving Victor Radley in the 22nd minute, but an early guilty plea to the charge will mean Napa is free to play this weekend against the Penrith Panthers.
