The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can provide the following injury update on players who have had surgery and are currently in the rehab group.
Zac Saddler: Saddler suffered a lateral meniscal tear to his right knee just before Christmas which required surgery. The 19-year old underwent an arthroscope and he will return to the main group within two weeks.
Fa'amanu Brown: Brown had a screw inserted together with a bone graft of the navicular bone in his right foot just before Christmas. The young half is six weeks post operation, off crutches and weight barring. He will require a CT scan at the eight-week mark and will miss the opening four weeks of the season.
Brandon Wakeham: Wakeham suffered a syndesmosis injury to his right ankle during the week. The 19-year has been operated on and is looking at a 10 to 12 week recovery.
Mason Cerruto: Cerruto suffered an ACL injury to his right knee in one of the final training sessions before the team broke up for the Christmas break. The 25-year old required a reconstruction and is currently three weeks post operation, but will be sidelined for nine months.
