The Italian Rugby League Federation today in the presence of the Italian Republic's Vice Minister of Defence, Domenico Rossi, the Italian Ambassador to Australia, Pier Francesco Zazo and Consule General of Italy, Sydney announced the Rugby League World Cup 2017 squad, including shadow players.
Italy head coach Cameron Ciraldo said he was looking forward to the challenge of the WOrld Cup as the team behing Italy's World Cup campaign with a warm game against Tonga Friday 20 Octover atr Innisfail.
The team will be captained by the veteran Mark Minichiello with James Tedesco his deputy. The final squad of 24 will be selected following assembly and medicals of all players.
