Centre Kerrod Holland spoke with the media this morning ahead of the Bulldogs clash with the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.

Once again errors and ball control have been the talking point at the Bulldogs after the eight-point loss to the Cowboys.

The Bulldogs came up with 12 errors at Belmore last Thursday night, following their 16 errors they came up with against the Broncos in Round 24 and throughout the season, possession and ball control have been an area the side has focused on trying to improve every week.

“Des has been harping on about and it’s something we’ve got to fix, because it’s not good enough for first grade level,” Holland said.

“Our training has been fine and I think it’s more of a mental thing in the game.

“It’s lapses in concentration and poor execution that is leading to errors, but it’s something we can fix.”

Make sure you're at ANZ Stadium with your colours showing your loud and proud in Round 26!

Coming up with 28 errors and two defeats in the past fortnight has left the team very disappointed and it’s an area they need to fix collectively heading into the finals according to Holland.

“As a team we’re gelling well together, but it’s a little bit of self-accountability - myself included and it’s something that I’ve got to take on board to play at this level and we’ll work forward going into the finals.”

Holland has made a return to first grade, due to the injury to Sam Perrett and he sees his as simple as ever in his debut season.

“I just want to do my job for the team, know my role and execute it perfectly.”

In a special arrangement for Bulldogs Member’s at this Friday’s clash with the Rabbitohs, all General Admission and Reserved seat Members will have access to ANZ Stadium’s brand new CrossBar located on Level 2 of the eastern grandstand.
