NRL micro figures are back by popular demand for the 2016 season, with the first of three series of figures on sale in Coles and Coles Express stores in New South Wales and Queensland, and online nationally from Wednesday 16 March.
Fans will be able to collect mini versions of their favourite players for just $2 each, with the first series of figures including 23 players and at least one player from every Club represented in the collection on sale.
For the first time, fans will be able to collect more NRL micro figures and associated product than ever, with inflatable players, Club shopping bags and a collectors album to store all your micro figures in going on sale on Wednesday with the series one collection.
Throughout the collection series, more and more players and collectors items will go on sale over the next three months.
NRL licencing manager Sally Christiansen said the collection had grown each year, with hundreds of thousands of micro figures collected last year.
“NRL micros are not only a fan favourite, our players love being involved as well and there is always interest to see who gets their own micro figure each year,” said Ms Christiansen.
“We have more players to collect in a range of forms than ever before and with two more series to announce over the next two months, including a special State of Origin series, I have no doubt that kids right across the country will be adding a few micro figures into the weekly shopping visit to Coles.”
Fans outside of New South Wales and Queensland who wish to collect NRL micro figures and associated product can head to www.nrlmicrofigures.com from Wednesday 16 March.
