Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Coach Des Hasler has named his trial squad for the match to be played against the Melbourne Storm, this Saturday from 5.30pm, at Belmore Sports Ground.

In what will be the club’s final hit-out before the season proper, Hasler has selected his strongest available side for the fixture. With Will Hopoate (knee) missing the match, new recruit Brad Abbey will get the opportunity to impress at fullback whilst Chase Stanley, Josh Reynolds, David Klemmer and Adam Elliott will make their first appearances for the year.

“I was pleased with what I saw last week but we’ll get to have a better look at the guys this week,” Hasler said. “I know guys like James (Graham), Josh (Reynolds), Josh (Morris) and David (Klemmer) are keen to get out there and play with the group for the first time this season.”

Members will gain free entry on the day and will have exclusive access to the grandstand. For non-members, tickets can be purchased through ticket.com.au or on the day at the venue.
