The Bulldogs celebrated the Women in our great game at our round 11 game on Sunday with the debut of the purple Women in League Bulldogs jersey at Waikato Stadium, Hamilton.

Our women were well and truly pampered at Sunday’s game – all receiving a sash to wear and thunder sticks to make some noise and show just how #proudtobeabulldog they are.

Four lucky ladies proudly wearing their Celebrating the ladies of League sashes were picked out of the crowd and given the opportunity to unwrap two massive gifts on field at half time.

Inside each gift was a 51 inch 3D HD Smart TV, $500 Vodafone Credit, a trip for two to Sydney including a Scenic Sea Plane experience or a Lamborghini driving experience and a Samsung Galaxy.

On top of this, 20 lucky fans were gifted with a Samsung Galaxy phone each simply for attending the game!

At half time of our NRL clash with the Auckland Warriors we took a photo..... of everyone all at once! Jump online and check it out - there is another gift box from Vodafone to be won simply Click Here find yourself among the crowd and tag yourself!

Congratulations to this week’s 18 Jersey winner – Gary Stokes - Member number 1184577.

Although Gary has lived his whole life in New Zealand, he regularly flies over to Australia to attend Bulldogs matches, having already attended 8 grand finals.

His love for the Bulldogs began in 1980 after he attended the Grand Final against Easts. A passionate supporter and member, Gary has 2 bulldogs tattoos. His favourite all time

Bulldogs player is Terry Lamb, however Josh Reynolds is his favourite current player.

Congratulations Gary!

Overall a big thank you to the people of Hamilton for making our time there so great!

Special shout outs to the crew from the Tu Matariki Maori Performing Arts group who performed the Haka prior to kick off, the players from the local Junior League Clubs; Hukanui, Hamilton Tigers, Iti Rearea, Huntly South, Taniwharau, Hamilton Hornets, Ngarawahia Panthers and  Turangawaewae and of course our New Zealand based members who came out to support the blue and white in droves!

We’re back at home again this Friday against the Roosters – make sure you get to the game early for all of our pre-game entertainment!
