With season 2016 fast approaching, Des Hasler and Bulldogs.com.au take a look at three of our blockbuster matches early in the season.

The NRL released the Casaview Homes 2016 Draw with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to open their season against the Manly Sea-Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Friday, 4 March.

After what is always a tough encounter across the bridge, the side will then head west for Round 2 against the Penrith Panthers on Thursday, 10 March.

Round 3 will see the club host its first home fixture of the year at ANZ Stadium with a local derby against the Parramatta Eels on Friday, 11 March, in what is sure to be a huge night on the calendar.

The annual Good Friday fixture will again take place with the Rabbitohs this year hosting the match. Full season members will again gain entry via the reciprocal rights arrangement.

Members and fans can mark Monday, 4 April in the diary now, as the night we again play at Belmore Sports Ground. The match will be against the Canberra Raiders and will be the first of two matches at the venue.
